An open trapezoid that forms hexagons in a wall. Extruded terracotta with crisp edges, natural or glazed. Frost resistant. The shapes join into continuous patterns that work best across a larger surface. They are made by a family brickworks in Veneto, run by the fifth generation since the early 20th century, which fires its pieces at temperatures above 1,060 °C.

An open trapezium forms hexagons in the wall like a honeycomb. Benátsko 5 stands out on a large surface, so it suits shading walls on facades, staircases and loggias, where it creates a solid sun screen with a strong texture. Format 27 × 12 cm, 31 pcs per m². The manufacturer declares frost resistance, and the blocks come in a natural shade or glazed. A softer version of the hexagons is offered by the wavy profile of Benátsko 6.
