A fired terracotta block, moulded by hand. Suited to fences, facades, terrace balustrades and partitions. The shape of the opening decides how much light passes through and what shadow the wall draws through the day. They are made by a family workshop from the pottery town of Bailén in Andalusia, run since 1975 by the third generation, whose handmade pieces go to more than 80 countries.
The 10 × 20 cm vertical format with a single opening brings a vertical rhythm to the wall. Andalúzia CC 7 suits narrow screens beside an entrance, side walls of a terrace or vertical bands that make a fence or partition look taller. It needs 46 pcs per m². On a terrace it combines with the bold cross of Andalúzia CC 3 and the narrow arched CC 8 blocks to create a structured shading wall. As it corresponds to half of the square module, it also fits between the other models of the collection.
